Nicks Armstrong, Esq. is a magna cum laude 1991
graduate of Tulane Law School where she was an
articles editor of the Tulane Law Review and a
member of the Order of the Coif, an honor society
for law students. She also holds a Masters degree
in Counseling from the University of South Alabama.
Carron clerked for the Hon.
Jacques L. Wiener of the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court
of Appeals and for the Hon. Steven Felsenthal,
U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District
of Texas. She then joined the practice of John
Wheat Gibson, managing his consumer bankruptcy
practice. For several years, she maintained her
own practice, concentrating on bankruptcy and
appeals, and assising other lawyers in research
and writing projects.
Subsequently, she joined the
firm of Roberts and Smaby, P.C. as a bankruptcy
associate. Since 1995 she has been an Adjunct
Professor in the Legal Studies Department of Texas
Wesleyan University where she has taught Bankruptcy,
Legal Research and Legal Writing.
As
a principal in The Armstrong Law Firm, she represents
individuals and businesses with legal issues in
bankruptcy, corporate law, consumer law and appeals.
Carron is a member of the State Bar of Texas. She is admitted to practice before all State Courts in Texas, the United States Disctrict Court and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States District Court and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. |
